To summarise
Summary is a project to put Sage 50 in a browser. Whilst it isn’t intended to replace your desktop Sage 50 application our goal is to make the day-to-day tasks of posting to and analysing your Sage 50 data available from your browser.
Roadmap
The following roadmap is intended to provide you with updates to how this project is progressing but is no means set in stone and is subject to change without notice.

Phase 1
– One-way-sync using our Sync50 add-on to send basic data from your desktop Sage 50 to our secure database servers. This includes Customer, Supplier, Invoice, Bank, Nominal, Transactions (with journal and allocations), Department & Project.
– Add custom fields to Customer, Supplier, Department and Project.
– Add over 40 dashboard widgets displaying your Sage KPI’s in numerous formats.
– Add enhanced reports including multi-company consolidation and enhanced department P&L reports.

This framework is currently used with our Summary CRM and Property Insights software.

Phase 2

– Document Management. Attach documents to any customer, supplier, transaction, department or project.
– 2-way sync. Send changes to customers and suppliers back to Sage 50 (Sync50).
– Create new Customer and Supplier records and send them to Sage 50.
– Sync50 to import further customer and supplier data for credit control use.
– Create service invoices and post them to Sage 50.
– Repeat Invoicing module with forecasting.

– Sync Stock, Price Lists, Purchase Order and Sales Order data with Sync50.
– Add additional dashboard widgets to support the above.
– Create Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Product Invoices and post them to Sage 50.

Phase 4 (Summary CRM)

– Add Leads module.
– Add Pipeline module that converts sales opportunities to Quotations, Sales Orders and Invoices.

– Form designer. Add additional fields to contact records.
– Introduce other accounting solutions such as Xero, Accounting and Intaact.
Phase 5 (Mobile phone version)
– Mobile phone version.
– Existing software should work fine on most tablets.

There will be some limitations to what we can do with Summary including Bank Reconciliation, transaction deletes, month end and year end reporting.
